Learner Assessments
Overview
These formative and summative assessments were designed to evaluate learners’ knowledge and understanding of the content covered in my Safe Training Procedures E-Learning Course Prototype.
Purpose
I designed a 5-question pre-assessment quiz to serve as self-assessment for learners to test their knowledge and recall of information presented in the Safe Training Procedures: Introduction course. The pre-assessment is completed at the beginning of the Safe Training Procedures course, and I designed it to be a resource for leaners to check their knowledge and understanding of the content covered in the introduction course. Learners can use the pre-assessment to identify content they me need to focus more attention to during the full course. I designed a 10-question summative assessment to evaluate learners’ cumulative knowledge and ability to apply the concepts covered in the course.

Branching Scenario Example
Below is an example of one of the branching, scenario-based question I designed for the summative assessment. This scenario mimics what learners may encounter on-the-job.
As learners progress through the scenario, they are presented with two options to address the situation.
Learners receive feedback on there responses and then a final summary about how situations like this can be navigated on-the-job.
