Purpose
This microlearning is part of an asynchronous course I designed, titled Thrive & Protect: Prioritizing Health & Wellness In Policing, which addresses the physical and mental health challenges faced by police officers, offering a holistic approach to wellness through practical, engaging, and community-based training. This microlearning course is designed for police officers who face unique challenges such as irregular work schedules, high-stress environments, and inconsistent meal patterns. It aims to equip officers with the foundational knowledge and practical tools needed to maintain a healthy diet and support their physical and mental well-being despite their demanding lifestyles.

Process & Tools
To create my microlearning course in Rise 360, I began by defining clear learning objectives that aligned with the audience's needs and identified key content areas to address, including macronutrients, micronutrients, and calorie intake. I structured the material into small manageable sections and curated multimedia assets, such as videos, visuals, and practical examples, to enhance understanding and application of the content. Rise 360’s interactive features allowed me to incorporate interactive elements to reinforce learning and support engagement. I ensured accessibility by following best practices in design, including clear navigation, intuitive layouts, accessible text, and captioned videos.
